Post World War 2

After World War 2, many forests had regrown to marketable sized trees and new tools had arrived to forestry, including the first effective bulldozers and chainsaws.  Trucks were used instead of railroads to transport the logs to the mills.  Building increased as the country climbed out of the Depression.
