"The forests must be, and will be, not only preserved but used, and the experience of all civilized countries that have faced and solved the question show that the forests, like perennial fountains, may be made to yield a sure harvest of timber while at the same time all their far-reaching beneficent uses may be maintained unimpaired."
John Muir, 1895

Diesel Pollution Control
If you have a diesel vehicle which you registered as an agricultural vehicle last month, you must now label it as an agricultural vehicle.
To comply with the labeling requirements, the vehicle must have "AG" on both the left door and the right door. The label can be painted on or you can put stickers on the doors. The Farm Bureau is one source of stickers.
Estate Tax
H.R. 3524, the Family Farm Preservation Estate Tax Act, is currently in the Ways and Means Committee. See more information in the Estate Tax page.
