Join us in Sacramento to urge the Legislature repeal the fire tax

We recently emailed you to let you know Senator Ted Gaines’ Senate Bill 17 to repeal the fire tax has been scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Natural Resources committee this Tuesday, April 9th.

If you would like to attend the hearing to testify in support of SB 17, we are offering you the opportunity to receive a free “burned by the fire tax” tee shirt and a special briefing prior to the hearing.

Here are the details including the meeting location which we have no secured:

What: Fire tax repeal hearing
Time: Meet at 8:00 am
Date: Tuesday, April 9th
Where: Meet at 921 11th Street, 2nd floor ballroom, Sacramento, CA 95814.  

After briefing and free tee shirt distribution, we will then walk to the Capitol.
